Meet our Films and Film Makers:

Carla Di Bonito will be showing

  • Luzinete tells the true story of Di Bonito's sister, whose death due to a cocaine overdose two decades ago serves as the foundation for the film yet also serves as the foundation for Di Bonito's desire to paint a fuller story of her sister. The film has won several awards.

D'Marie Dowe will be showing

  • Say Nothing: When speaking up isn’t an option, you say nothing! Daniell Attwell (The Beautiful Game, 1917 & East Enders), Reece Harris (newcomer) and Ellen Thomas (After Ever After, In The Long Run & East Enders) star in a magical realist buddy cop drama about a white cop and a black kid who get caught up in each other’s lives.

Sahl Hasnain will be showing:

  • An Assassin's Guide to Europe: An assassin chasing a target, Kurban, through Europe, starts to question the morality of his job. He finds himself in a cat-and-mouse chase through Paris, Zurich and Munich, all as his doubts grow stronger.

Charles 'Chucky' Venn will be showing

  • How To Navigate Being A Monster: An intense psychological, mind trip that explores the compulsion to take risks, the thrill and desire to run towards danger, even if one’s life is in potential jeopardy. It queries the human mind and its need to quell curiosity. As well as the unnerving, intriguing dualies between those who are compelled to commit evil acts as opposed to those who don’t.
