Nike Awoyinka, Founder and CEO of Inklar, a cultural and creative industries consultancy based in London with a specific focus on the African creative industries. Inklar works closely with organisations, educational institutions, and creatives, guiding them through the intricate landscape of the creative industries and their immense potential for cultural and societal transformation.

Before establishing Inklar, Nike shaped and led the global marketing teams at several renowned British creative universities including Sotheby’s Institute of Art and Ravensbourne University of London. A leading authority on higher education internationalisation strategies, Nike has secured and delivered high-value transnational educational projects in Brazil, China, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Mauritius, Nigeria, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates. Her global experience includes roles in the international development sector. She was the Programme Lead for the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) local governance programmes in Sub-Saharan Africa. Additionally, she served as the Head of Communications for Common Ground Productions, a Washington DC-based global conflict transformational NGO, where she led their Sub-Saharan Communications team overseeing publications, web, media and PR and public affairs.  She has also served as a consultant for LVMH, Red, the Nelson Mandela Foundation, the Tutu Desk Campaign and the Nigerian Arts and Culture Directory project.

She is a champion for the increased visibility of BIPOC women as content creators and the critical need for diverse casting, accurate storytelling, and equal opportunities in the UK creative industries. As an accomplished speaker, and thought leader, she utilises her platform to raise awareness, challenge narratives, and inspire change in academic curricula, exhibitions, and public programming.

Nike, also actively participates in her community. She serves on the Parish Church Council of St Martin-In-the-Fields royal parish church, the Westminster Deanery Synod and is a trustee of the Future of Ghana charity.
